After the election of a new President and the approval of its accounts 2011, on the occasion of its Council meeting in Geneva, the Foundation CAUX-Initiatives of Change (IofC) will experience many challenges and opportunities in the coming months.

A group from Initiatives of Change gave a presentation of its work at the national conference of AIESEC Switzerland, the Swiss branch of the world’s largest student-run organization (AIESEC, Association Internationale des Etudiants en Sciences Economiques et Commerciales) with over 50,000 members at the end of March in Leysin.

The Caux Challenge is an opportunity for individuals to take steps towards being the change they wish to see in the world. Over one week in May, participants are invited to challenge themselves by undertaking an activity aimed at inspiring us all to make a change, in our families, communities, countries – and to thereby be part of a coalition of conscience working towards human security for all.

We are looking for four communication assistants and four logistical assistants

An international team of young and committed leaders will offer this new interactive workshop to young people who want to actively shape our present and future societies.

A wide range of keynote speakers and panel presenters will take part in the Trust and Integrity in the Global Economy Caux conference, 17 to 23 July.

For it fifth consecutive session, the Caux Forum for Human Security produced a new Vision and Mission statement that reflects its commitment to enabling a growing network to confront human security challenges worldwide.

In 2011, the ‘Learning to live in a multicultural world’ conference launched their very first HUB in an effort to create a pivotal point, a space connecting the different elements of the conference. This successful experience will continue in 2012.

To do background research for the preparation of the fifth Caux Forum on Human Security, July 8th-15th, prepare its lessons learned and to actively participate in the conference taking place in the International conference center in Caux (near Montreux). The internship will last a total of 4 months.

Over 80 ambassadors and representatives of Non Governmental Organizations attended a reception to hear from Dr Omnia Marzouk, the new President of Initiatives of Change International during her visit to Switzerland.
