Internship in the Communications Department

The communications department of the International Caux Conferences 2010 is looking for a native English-speaker as an intern for the whole period of the conferences (24 June to 17 August 2010). Deadline for applications is 28 February 2010.

Opportunities to help/volunteer

Since its creation in 1946, the Initiatives of Change conference centre in Caux has been able to operate thanks to the support of numerous volunteers. There are many ways of contributing to the functioning of this centre, where people from all walks of life meet, searching how to be a part of transforming society.

According to your skills and preferences, you could help at the reception desk, the kitchen, the dining-room, the economat, housekeeping and other places as well.

Caux Scholars Program

The Caux Scholars Program (CSP) 2010 will run from 6 July through 5 August. The four weeks will hold approximately forty hours of academic classes, six to seven hours per week of “Service for Leadership” practical work, a field trip to Geneva and full participation in the Caux Forum for Human Security.

Caux Interns Program

The Caux Interns Program offers the possibility of doing an internship in Caux for energetic, self-starting young adults seeking experience leading international work teams of volunteers during the summer. Applications for 2010 are now closed.

Dates:

  • Session 1: June 27 – July 25, 2010
  • Junior Interns: July 19 – August 18, 2010
