So this is my final blog from Mountain House. I have enjoyed my time here very much. The scenery is always an inspiration and the people are so varied and interesting, it is a great place to be.

‘When deep sorrow is felt by all the parties concerned, the process of forgiveness should enable the victims of historic injustices and their relatives to find their dignity and the potential of their contribution to humanity.’

The sub heading of the conference is ‘Can artists help to mend a broken world?’ The participants will ponder the role of art and artists in the 21st century, the impact they have and how they can use their skills to make a difference.
